ICCRS Booklet and Video Courses from the CCR Centre

In addition to the CaFE series of courses and the other items on the Resources Page, the following books and video series are available through the CCR Centre on (03) 9629 2544:

ICCRS has produced a booklet of 35 pages, entitled A Sign of Hope for All People, which has been compiled by Director Oreste Pesare. It reflects on statements made by Pope John Paul II concerning Catholic Charismatic Renewal during the last five years of his pontificate. It has now been published in Melbourne by CCR, and is available from the Centre at $5.00 per copy. This is a helpful booklet for leaders and prayer group members to read about the positive attitude of John Paul II to the Charismatic Renewal.

A six-session video/DVD/CD/audio cassette series, entitled This Promise Is for You, has been produced by outstanding British teachers, Michelle Moran and Charles Whitehead. It comes with a manual, daily prayer guide and a music CD, and is about the ‘Life Changing Work of the Holy Spirit.’ The series can be used in prayer groups, parishes and other study groups. Like a Life in the Spirit Seminar or retreat, it opens the participant to the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. The full video pack costs $140.00 and the DVD pack costs $130.00. Audio CD or cassettes cost $75.00.

Archbishop Mark ColeridgeA video, Saints in Rome, with Archbishop Mark Coleridge has become available. It is a 60-minute journey through the fascinating history of Christian Rome. Presented on location throughout Rome, Archbishop Mark Coleridge from the Canberra-Goulburn Diocese explains the circumstances of various saints’ lives in an expert manner.

Archbishop Mark is a biblical scholar and knows Rome very well, having spent many years there in study, and more recently working in the Vatican with Pope John Paul II. In an engaging way, he establishes the roots of the ancient city and introduces us to some of the influential saints of the Church, as we visit many of the sites and holy places in Rome.

The series is available in DVD or videotape form from the CCR Centre for $35.00 (incl. postage). It has been produced by Catholic Faith Exploration (CaFE) in the UK.

Archbishop Mark Coleridge has also produced a series of talks on the Bible. They are available on video or audio tapes. The series is entitled Catholics Listening to God. It looks at the place of the Bible in the Church. The 40-minute talks are: The Word of God, The Book of God, Praying the Bible, Sharing the Bible, The Tradition of the Church, The Teaching of the Church, and The Mission of the Church. The set can be purchased through the CCR centre. Archbishop Coleridge is a dynamic and inspiring speaker. Click here for an order form and for pricing details. Archbishop Mark is well-known as a dynamic teacher.

See the interview with Archbishop Mark on his teaching role as bishop and the way in which his contact with Catholic Charismatic Renewal has been a source of spiritual energy from him over his years as a priest.

Order forms for all videos are available from the Centre on (03) 9629 2544 or e-mail.
